Shipping and Processing Fees
The costs associated with shipping can vary greatly, and it is difficult to properly estimate the final cost of shipping online. The shipping costs displayed throughout the order process are a rough guide only, and may change before your order is confirmed. You will not be charged until a total price is confirmed with you.

Pricing and Product Information
From time to time there may be information on our Web Site or in our catalogue that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability. La Maison reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Product Colours
Colours as shown on our photographs are displayed differently on every monitor and computer system. As such, colours displayed should be considered a guide rather than an accurate representation of the actual finish.

Linen Upholstery
Our upholstery is done in a natural linen and hence the colouring may vary. If you would like a colour sample of the current stock, please contact our office.

Claims and Discrepancies
All claims must be made in writing directly to La Maison Head Office within seven days of delivery or collection quoting the invoice number and reason for the claim. A Return Authority Form is to be completed in full and returned to La Maison as no returns will be accepted without the prior approval of La Maison. Freight costs may be charged to the customer.

Product Availability
Due to popularity or interruption of supply, some items may be unavailable or out of stock. You will be notified of stock availability once your submitted order has been processed by a member of our staff.

Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery dates and times quoted are subject to possible changes due to shipping schedules, overseas suppliers, strikes, carrier delays etc. Dates and times provided are estimates only.

Re-stocking Charge
For all goods returned as unsuitable, a re-stocking fee of 15% plus freight will be charged.

Self Collection Handling Charge
For all self-collected orders, there is a handling charge of 2.5% applicable.

Order Collection
Orders must not be collected until La Maison has advised that they are ready to be collected.

American Express Surcharge
Any orders to be payed for with an American Express card will incur a 2.5% surcharge.

Product
The nature of our items evoke an aged appearence acheived by hand, and as such, colour and size variations can be found. Each item is made from wood products, the carved elements including the legs are carved by hand using traditionalcabinet making techniques and any imperfections are characteristics of that item. A wax polish is applied by hand, over the surface to create an aged finish that is unique from one product to another.
